St.Stephen's School

Class 6EW

Welcome to 6EW!

We are all diligent and hardworking members in 6EW who are very much looking forward to the year ahead. Our class teacher is Esther Williams, and our Educational Assistant is Krupali Trivedi. This upcoming year is one of the most important in our Primary school journey and here in 6EW we are focused and determined in achieving our goals. To do this we will try our best to tackle challenging work with a positive attitude, persevere during all tasks, support each other and be relentless in our goal to succeed. Alongside becoming experts in Maths, Reading and Grammar, we are also excited to be exploring creative elements of the Curriculum, including the study of modern art work, improving our map reading skills and planning and performing Science experiments. Being in 6EW, we also expect that music and singing will feature as part of our weekly routine!

In January we will have an opportunity to go on a residential visit to Wick Court Farm, where we will be living and working on a real-life farm for a week! In addition to learning all about farm animals and working farm life, we will also develop our independence skills. Alongside this, we are also lucky enough to have the opportunity to visit Sky Studios, where we will become film producers for the day!

After our SATs we will have the opportunity to do many exciting activities
including: Year 6 production, Summer fayre, bowling and teachers vs year 6 football, all of which will be great rewards for the hard work and dedication we will show leading to the SATs.

The ethos and morals within 6EW will encompass all elements of WE CARE. In this class we will ensure that we look after our wellbeing and the wellbeing of our peers, we will always be courteous and polite, we will show kindness and support each other in everything that we do and we will treat everyone with the upmost respect. We are looking forward to an exciting and exhilarating year ahead!

You can find us in room 20.
