St.Stephen's School

Class 4RD

Hello and welcome to 4RD’s homepage.

This year we are learning about the Anglo-Saxons and Vikings and have been busy making shields and a Viking boat for our class display. We are learning about nutrition and how to cook a healthy, balanced meal. We are looking forward to coding our own computer games, swimming lessons at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and developing our knowledge of music through learning to play the ukulele.

Furthermore, in geography we will be learning about countries all over the world. Let’s not forget English and Maths! This year we will be embedding our times tables, learning about place value, equivalent fractions and more. In English we are expanding our vocabulary and improving our punctuation.  By taking our reading books home every day we are going to improve our reading and comprehension skills.

We know that year 4 is going to be an engaging year. Through hard work and enthusiasm we are going to make the most of all the fantastic learning opportunities ahead.

4RD Class Charter

Each class at St. Stephen’s Primary School will complete a class charter, outlining agreements for members of the class and duty bearers (adults). All pupils are entitled to receive their rights. This class charter will form the basis of a display in class, be displayed on the class website page and also be used for class disciplinary matters.
